Very very cheap presentation though, will have cost less than removing the logo on the Virgin1 idents.

Just caught this:

That Living logo is inconsistent to the one I saw featuring the current Living logo and Sky Movies logo, probably the one above is by Sky News.

...really? How could anything be cheaper than returning to the masters and replacing any "Virgin1" logo with the "Channel One" logo?

IIRC, 'Red' was the last face before the rebrand. I'm guessing Virgin mightn't have let Sky used those idents, and I can only assume that the logos, in some of them at least, weren't added in post production or anything.

The great channel re-shuffle of 1 Feb has been (sort of) announced:

Interesting that MTV is moving to channel 126.

It's (finally!) being classifed as entertainment due to the distinct lack of music on the channel. MTV Shows is closing and a new channel, MTV Music, will launch on 350.

Good to see FX getting a good EPG slot, great channel but currently a little in the wilderness of the Sky EPG, hopefully the move will give it a bit more exposure.

I bet Comedy Central/HD will be happy moving so far up the EPG too - that's always been far too low. And glad to hear MTV reclassifying itself at LONG last. I hope this new MTV Music channel has an HD version - their current pan-European version isn't great.

My only concern with the HD channel swap will be the people who have got used to the likes of Sky1 HD being on channel 170 and will end up watching the SD version instead.

I can't imagine Sky will want to keep their SD versions of Sky 3 +1 and Sky Living up in the 220s, I think the rest of the EPG will be overhauled too when Sky and Universal-owned channels are concerned, for example, will the SD version of FX stay on 164?

Sky still haven't announced homes for Sky Atlantic SD, Sky Living It HD, and more importantly Sky 3!

I've put all of the currently known changes on a spreadsheet here:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Amrq1EVq9UG_dFlOTXo1MV9EdHJheFB4azNvZ21YS3c&hl=en_GB

Channel 4 and the BBC won't be on the first page of the HD-only section of the EPG anymore.

I wish all of the +1 channels would get moved into their own block of numbers rather than being randomly strewn across the channel list. Either that or always adjacent to their corresponding channel.

Looking at that table at the bottom of the link, it looks like the terrestrial HD channels aren't going to swap on the EPG, even though they're the most watched channels on television. I hope they do swap them around, otherwise it won't be as good a move as it could be.
