Interesting that they've kept a similar font for "Living". I think out of any of those logos, it works the best, because it's the most interesting. Sky1 looks clunky - they should have reverted to "ONE" to fill the box a bit more, and Sky Atlantic looks just a little bit boring.

What's Sky's obsession with changing their channel logos every couple of years?!

Is it possible that they are keeping the current on screen branding for those channels, but creating more standardised logos for print and cross-channel promotions?

I would have said yes but they recently amended the Sky Movies idents with the tablet logo used online and in print (making an uncharacteristic mess sadly), so I've got a feeling these will be seen on screen too given their understandable efforts to forge a unified look.

Would be easy enough to apply the new logo to the current Sky1/2/3 idents, although I thought a new look may have been on the cards given the strange delay it's taken for the Sky logo to be updated in the Sky1/2/3 logos and to tie in with the launch of Atlantic.

I guess the preview pdf featuring the shattered blocks with new logo doesn't necessarily confirm a revamp isn't around the corner - they might just not want to reveal too much just yet.

hmm, not really sure what to make of these new logos.
sky 1 looks pretty boring in truth, but I guess we just have to see how they look onscreen.

I always like the sky:onc logo, but out of these 3, Living is my fave logo.

Hmm, 'The Home of HBO', that's quite a good selling point. It'll be interesting to see how the idents look, but that promo felt very classy.

This looks like a very promising channel from sky, for once, shame Sky one becoming a dump!, there could move the 3 us sitcoms and The simpons to that channel and bingo. sky one no more.

It looks OK as an addition to the Variety Pack.

Do Virgins get this?

Is this REALLY SkyAtlantic?

Do you mean: is this HBO UK? I agree it certainly looks that way - but then again, that's no bad thing.

I wonder if Sky1 is trying to up its game at the moment as well in terms of home-grown programmes. This week's Little Crackers have been exceptionally good, and more like something I'd expect from the BBC.

I know it's only one strand of programmes, but it's so un-typically Sky1, I hope it marks the start of a bit more in the way of quality programming.

Did you not watch Ten Minute Tales, last Christmas?

Do a Google for Lucy Lumsden and Sky comedy and you'll find out about other new Sky 1 commissions.
