currently, Sky Latin America (which actually covers Mexico and Brazil) is part of DirecTV. in fact, all other Latin American operations are branded "DirecTV". the Mexican and Brazilian operations carry the "Sky" name because of their awareness in those markets versus DirecTV.
either they'll keep the old Sky Italia logo or they'll eventually rebrand to DirecTV. (in fact, the Sky HD box in Brazil is exactly the same box for DirecTV HD in the US, except with different colours – the DTV box has a blue ring of light, while the Sky BR box has a red ring, because red is Sky BR's corporate colour).
On Sky2 last night a special banner appeared on the bottom of the screen to advise people to change to sky news as the 'man hunt' was underway. They attempted 2 times before to get the banner working, but istead the sky travel ticker appeared for about 4 seconds.

There are two address shown to offer shirt: one in Netherlands, the other in the UK. (for those outside Netherlands)
Is/was there a Dutch law restricts foreign catalogue shopping or something?
I don't think there was any law, IIRC in those days Sky Channel was very popular on Cable in the Netherlands, they even made a couple of their shows on location in the Netherlands due to it's popularity.
Sky are really pushing their broadband TV ad campaign at the moment. Yesterday the front and back of Metro (The free newspaper) was all about their broadband and TV services.

Sky broadband also seems to be sponsoring e4 movies, well they did for 10 Things I Hate About You last night
Sky Arts have launched their new branding today, complete with new idents.
From what I've seen so far, Sky Arts 1 has only used 1 new ident, and Sky Arts 2 has only used 2 new idents, although more may appear with time.
They only seem to have made the idents for the HD channels, so the SD channels have now got idents which say "Sky Arts 1 HD" and "Sky Arts 2 HD"
I don't really agree with trailers, idents and voiceovers only making reference to the HD channel, when you're watching the SD channel, and considering that SD channels generally have more viewers than HD channels.
