Could this just be an elaborate hoax by someone with too much time on their hands? I might be wrong, but I can't help feeling there's something a little fishy about this.


That must be a fake cos the broadband says you get 2mbps, but if it's going to be using TV-on-demand then you need a bit of a faster connection for that - BT say 5mbps - especially for Demand Five and BBC iPlayer.

Not much of a surprise considering that Sky have bought the VMTV channels, but Sky Real Lives is getting the axe...

I suppose it makes sense as LIVING is more established with better programming, than Real Lives.

'Sky Travel' closing down

Sky EPG information shows that 'Sky Travel' (669) closes down at 6am on Thursday 24th June. The '..programmes no longer available' message appears in the listings from this time.

Could it be the channel is moving EPG number? So Sky Real Lives and Sky Travel both seem to be going. Can we put Sky Poker and Vegas channels there too?

Nope, Sky Travel is shutting down according to Travel Trade Gazette:

Is it my eyes or are they the old sky logo? i.e. the ones immediately prior to our current ones?

EDIT: Yes it is my eyes.

On an additional point, why "Sky Cinema" and "Sky Cinema 1"? That'd confuse me.... maybe the first one should be Sky Cinema 0 ?

Isn't the "Sky Cinema" name just an umbrella for the Cinema channels, like "Sky Movies" is for the Movies channels... Rolling Eyes
