Complain that it doesn't display properly on iDevices

Got an address of that logo in SWF (I know, not supported on iPhone/Pod touch/Pad): http://www.sky.com/skycom/6827/flash/skycom_animated_logo.swf

Tried Sky.com in the iPad Simulator, just shows a still image logo like before.

Showing same on iPod Touch aswell.

I unsure about the ipad but the iPod Touch does not have flash player. Which mean the logo can't animate. I not sure if this is a true fact but it what I been told.

Apple hates Flash, so iPad, iPhone, and iPod will not display flash content. Fortunately web developers can serve up an image if flash is not detected.

Or like BBC and the Beta/New Homepage clock, make it work without.

Rather shockingly I notice Sky Sports News still have the old logo on the overnight broadcast. How bizarre.

That's not the first time either, it's happened quite a few times since the rebrand.

They haven't bothered to update it which is quite strange as Sky are usually very on the ball with this kind of thing. It's also made appearances during more socialable hours when recorded bulletins are played out whilst the main studio is being prepared (such as before Soccer Saturday).

It's turning into a BBC Two Learning Zone DOG scenario - 13 years and two rebrands yet still going strong!

New logo on SSN tonight. They must be reading this thread...

BTW Martin, what are you going to do with that SWF file I found?
