Here is a clean version of the snowflakes ident. It's strange that they are airing the Christmas idents in tandem with the regular two. I first spotted the Christmas idents on Saturday the 16th, but the misc graphics have had a sparkle effect much longer than that with a Christmas sound effect added to the ECPs.

Can't say that matters, the idents already display a core Christmassy theme in them, whether there is snow or not.

Which probably sounds good as part of the dissertation of an Art College student, but not as a 5 second TV ident. They are really no different to the rest of the set - boring.
Even the BBC One Christmas idents had more thought, and they are going to last less than a month.
I am not a fan of Sky's new identity for Sky One.

I hope additional idents are launched next year, just to break up the monotony of the sound of bubble wrap and microwave popcorn. Although I can't see this package lasting longer than a year.
