No need now I guess as the promo has been fixed with the new Sky One logo now. Dunno how it got approved with an outdated logo on the endboard (initially) though.

Don’t know if this has been mentioned but on Sky One (and probably the other Sky channels) they have been promoting the FOX channel for their broadcast of The Orville on credit end boards (I saw it at the end of The Simpson’s) as they would another Sky channel. Sign of things to come?

They’ve been doing this for a while. Especially with The Walking Dead. It’s not uncommon to see the odd Nickelodeon promo on the main Sky channels as it is partly owned by Sky in this country.

lol, that means Disney are about to get a stake in one of Disney Channel's main competitors!

Documentary channels will be lumped into the Entertainment section (101 - 199)

SD channels are apparently going to have a new category for 'secondary channels', which will reflect the order of entertainment and documentary channels. Exact numbers haven't been released yet.

HD Swaps for regionalised channels will take effect on the day of the reshuffle. ITV HD regions which mirror the SD channel would be installed at the top of the EPG.

This change to the Sky EPG is the most radical one yet, since 2011 (when HD Swap was launched). This gives documentary channels and entertainment channels with terrible EPG slots not just more prominence in the Sky EPG, but guarantees better performance in viewing figures. And the most important aspect of this reshuffle - cleaning up the clutter and mess of the EPG, and making it more easier to reach channels on the guide.

Even with the +1 channels removed considering Freeviews general section now is pretty much full from 1-99 I'd have thought Sky would be struggling for space there too, even with shopping channels in their own section.

I think the issue here is that there's nobody to approve it - a producer will make the trail, and send it to playout, and the wrong logo will remain until spotted by someone who knows what it's meant to look like.

Waiting for the Snowflakes ident at 12.40am. EDIT: Well, Popcorn aired instead. Will capture tomorrow, obviously due to sleep...
