An ad for Sky Sports 4, using the new logo, ran during the football tonight. Also on the Sky Player it uses the new logo for Sky Sports 1,2,3 and 4 in the live tv section.

I really think they need to look at the branding to be honest - I mean, what the hell does 'Screen 1 and Screen 2' have to do with anything. Either call all the channels 'Screens', or call them Premier 2 and 3.

You've never been to a cinema then?

I think he means it makes no sense in the context of the other channels. What about Sky Movies Mix 1 and 2

Sky Sports News has adopted the new logo. New background on the right hand side. Apart from that, no other changes.

Of course I have. I was referring to the fact they are completely differently named to all of the other Sky Movies channels, and don't really fit in, or mean anything.

The other channels are named after the genres of films they show. They've pretty much got all genres covered in one way or another, so they can't really have 2 more genres.

They can't call them Sky Movies Premiere 2/3 either - as they don't show their premiere movies.

So you're left with the "Mix" name as suggested above, or "Screen." IMO, Screen 1/2 makes more sense in the context of a Movies service.

I just think it seems odd when the channels are named after genres and then there is Sky Movies Screen 1 & 2. IMO, I think they should be all 'Screens' or not at all.

They are nice - pity the same thing couldn't have been done with Sky Movies.

Very similar to the Discovery HD trail.

The logo does look really good - and to be honest, the curves on the new company logo work well. It's a small change, but it does feel friendly, and when I see the old one now it feels very corporate.
