Why is Sky Cinema the same wasn’t there a photo posted at Sky Centre with the new Sky Cinema logo?

Seems like they're doing it in stages, possibly to utilise the billboards. Sports first, now entertainment, I'm guessing cinema followed by news.

Going back to the billboards I've seen two on a 15 minute drive this evening that weren't there yesterday, so praise to their marketing department for arranging that. I'm not sure that I've ever seen a billboard just for a channel before, or should I say just the channel logo without promoting any programmes.

Can't find an example online, but the BBC almost did this with a billboard that was just the BBC One red box (with the letters in the BBC blocks replaced with "THE") for the launch of the Dancers and the associated parkour promo...

...which was subsequently parodied on screen by Sky One Mix, appropriately enough.

Pretty pleased with the new set bit it could be tweaked.
The new Atlantic logo has actually made me fall back in love with the idents
But I saw the crisps advert... its awful and quite off putting, no?

BTW now digressing a little bit, I can see why they rebranded Sky1 back to Sky One: this in spite of me loving the previous package, but now it makes more sense

There's no "Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 etc." anymore, Sky3 has ceased to exist as a brand, and now Sky2 is in a much less prominent EPG number.. numerals really don't make sense anymore,, "One" is a better name for their main general channel

I think though Sky should have thought about this before, before creating the amazing package they previously had.. now everything (albeit still decent) looks minor in comparison

Used bubblewrap but plugged the movie on later and mentioned getting some popcorn. Rolling Eyes

Yeah, Atlantic still looks all right.. actually, the idents look better with a dark blue background at the end

Actually all the Sky entertainment channels look better with their customised endboard (pink for Sky Arts)

I think now though Sky should stop with the rebrands for some time, now that everything looks (more or less) tidy, except for some idents addition/adjustments here and there

This, of course, after Sky Cinema and Sky News will get their updated logos

I think the next thing to be rebranded after this phase has completed is the corporate logo itself, could imagine it being refreshed.

I just watched the Sky One Crisps advert on RTÉ2 HD tonight with the slogan at the end "crispy one, Sky One". It was spoken in an Irish accent which would be for the Sky Ireland customers. All I can say is that it looks simplistic by being very blue for a Sky One rebrand.

That is the only Sky advert that I have watched on TV so far apart from the rebranded Sky Sports adverts. It was not bad but it looked very basic for a Sky channel. The Sky Sports adverts look a lot better IMHO.
