I suppose no one has noticed but the Sky logo on Sky.com has changed from 3D to 2D. This is the same logo they have been using on the recent Sky Q adverts.
*

That seems to be a backward step, when all of the channels are now sporting the updated 3D shiny logos.

The new logo is still 3D, it has just been updated to match the rest of channels logos. It still has beveled edges like the rest of the channels and has the same gradient animation moving from left to right. The old logo was just a 2D image with white shading to make it look 3D. The new logo looks very nice in the adverts I have seen. See the end of the video below..

Sky Cinema Italy has been unified, and Sky Cinema 1 has become Sky Cinema Uno
It includes the last showing of the glorious SC Classic ident

Sky Atlantic and Sky Arte also have got the British graphics on yesterday, while Sky Uno has adapted the British promo graphics but not the idents (because of it not being "Sky 1", for the time being, since the graphics are based around a "1" character)
However, Sky Uno has got a new slightly different ident:

The Sky Arte ident package includes this new Venice/Arlecchino one:

Promo of Sky Arte:

Sky Generation, a temporary channel of Sky Italia on Sky Atlantic's slot. Not sure if Sky Atlantic rollout UK's look

Why's it called Sky Generation?

Why's it called Sky Generation?

Here's that dreaded "Millennials" word:

It 'just in Lucca, in fact, that will be presented Sky Generation, the temporary channel dedicated to millennials and fans of video games, comics, television series, web series, anime and much more! Sky Generation will turn on channel 111 Saturday, October 29, and will remain active until November 20

Possibly a trial to test the waters for a new teen/young adult oriented brand? Or alternatively, just a pop-up channel surrounding an Italian comic convention Sky are involved with, by the sounds of it.

So Italy has been brought into line with the UK and Germany, in regards to presentation and consistency. But I can't see Sky UNO lasting much longer with its current name, sooner or later, Sky will bring it in line with the UK and German versions and it's remit could get moved away from reality programming to a mix of programming that the UK and German Sky1 channels have.

Not sure about Sky Living, as it's the only brand out of the four main channels not extended to Germany and Italy.

This

And it only replaces Sky Atlantic +1, not the main Sky Atlantic

Yeah,I can't see Sky Living expanding

That role already is been played in Italy by Fox Life (the close Fox company), and Germany has that market targeted already

As for Sky Uno: we'll see how it goes.. I hope so, since I don't like the reality show focus on Sky Uno that much

However, they probably don't want to compete that much with Fox

So wait, considering this channel is for teenagers, isn't this just Sky's test of bringing back Trouble, but with a different name?

'Millenials' aren't teenagers, as a strata of society it refers primarily to those born between 1980 and 1995, so those aged between 21 and 36.

It's been posted by the creator, for an international audience (so probably Sky Arts UK will be/is using it too)

On Sky Arte Italy obviously it has "Sky Arte"

UNO just means ONE, so they'll probably just change the logo but keep the name audibly the same. Surprised they haven't already, so they could use the British Sky 1 idents.

You didn't need to quote that four times, JetixFann! Shocked
