Sky's Branding

Quite likely, but if Freesat STB's (which run a much more basic software I'd imagine) can have separate names for the EPG and S&S Banner, why can't Sky?

Sky 1 are now running a trailer for their upcoming Autumn programmes, including very brief glimpses of Harry Hill's Tea Time.

Ooh I really like the animation at the beginning. It's nice to see some interesting design for the Sky channels again

They've been using the 'animated 1' for a few months now as their idents.

Indeed, looks wonderful. Much nicer than the horrid corporate look all of the channels took on.

Sky Sport News HD in Germany and Sky Sport 24 in Italy have now been aligned with SSN in the UK.

What a shame SSN Germany previous graphics were so much better

. . . except for the unnecessary plural in the channel descriptor.


If Sky can change Sky Movies to Sky Cinema, then I'm sure they can change Sky Sports to Sky Sport.

I think Sky Cinema, sounds so much more classy than Sky Movies. I also agree about the unnecessary plural with Sky Sports, but that is the brand however. Unlikely to change methinks.

I think Sky Sport sounds wrong it just sounds, it's like they show one type of sport, it sounds right with Sky Sports.

Worked for years on ITV as World of Sport as opposed to World of Sports.
Still, each to their own.
