Apologies if this has been mentioned already, but it's worth noting that since the Sky Cinema rebrand, Sky Box Office is now using a Sky Store ident rather than Movies/Cinema Box Office as previous. Not surprising as it's inevitable the Box Office service is being withdrawn slowly in favour of Store.

It's very likely they'll change the name of Sky Box Office to Sky Store Previews.

Why Sky Store 'previews'?
The only difference between the two services is that one is a linear broadcast and the other a download.
SBO is also the brand used for one-off sporting events, so I don't see the name disappearing altogether.

Sky Q has no such mention of it. I doubt they'll update the existing Sky remotes, the interactive button is as redundant as the box office one. The NOW TV remotes do have a Sky Store button on them though.
I wonder if new remotes will replace the Sky Box Office button with a Sky Store button?

If there was ever a need to raise the limit on the length of channel names on the Sky EPG, today is a good example why.
Sky Family HD (Sky channel 306) has become a pop-up channel Sky Fairy Tales, which is horribly abbreviated to SkyFairyTlsHD.

I always thought the Sky EPG was fairly generous with the length of channel names, especially compared to Virgin, which barely has a single channel name in its EPG that hasn't had to be condensed to fit!

Bizarrely, Sky Spies is fine, but Sky Spies HD was put up without any spaces as if it wouldn't fit, yet there's plenty of room for it!
I think there is space for 14 characters but less if larger width characters are used. Given the spare space on the S&S Banner it is surprising they don't have the full versions on there, like Freesat does (even though their EPG is horribly abbreviated in many places).
The sooner they switch to having the channel logos instead of text names the better. The Sky EPG looks lovely in the On Demand section when it changes colour and has logos for the actual service in use, depending on which one you select.

You View does it imaginatively, retaining the EPG name, but superimposing a graphic over it so that the viewer is none the wiser.

The space on the TV Guide listing is more the limiting factor than the S&S banner which is probably why there is a limit on the number of characters in a channel name on Sky. I suspect its the same text field in the EPG listing as the S&S Banner.
