The only thing I wish Sky would do now is update the Sports logos with the proper corporate font like they have for all their other channels. Gone are the customisations for Living, Atlantic and Movies. It's about time they did the same for Sports too. Still using a modified version of their old corporate font from the late 90's is just stupid. Oh, and get rid of the HQ part of Sky Sports News' name. It's bizarre and silly.

I don't know about about the logo, since slight exceptions to the rule can be accepted (e.g. Sky News)

However, if they're going to do that, the blue part of "Sky" would have to be changed too, and the Sky Sports logo would become too similar to Sky News and even Sky Cinema

I've just seen something very peculiar on Snapchat- where Sky Sports' logo is now out of the box whilst Sky News has stayed normal...

I think it's been like that on Snapchat for some time, the videos on link still have the current logo.

Small change to Sky Sports News HQ graphics today, slightly more gloss has been applied.

Text needs a slight font adjustment but they could release that today and call it new. And indeed many companies have. Co Op being recent example.

The difference is the Co-op logo is clever and versatile, that logo is two coloured rectangles with text.

I think it would be better if they just changed the name to Sky Sport and unified the brand with the Italian and German outputs.

Sky Atlantic Germany is now using the same presentation as the UK channel. Note the ident has been sped up and the beginning has cut.

I will have to check Sky Atlantic Italy.. I suppose they'll be implementing the UK look and Sky corporate guidelines soon

Prob. it'll come with the new Sky Cinema look

I disagree, I think the colours look ok in the glossy version but don't look good together flat. And the fonts are hideously dated. If that came out as a new logo now it would look out of place.
