Interesting to see The Simpsons in the Catch Up TV section. Would be great to see it added to Catch Up and On Demand.

A new Sky Living channel trailer. Perhaps new idents can be expected soon. Note the use of the Sky Sports 2014 logo animation which is now in use on Sky1's 2015 idents, Sky Atlantic UK 'The Last Panthers' promo, Sky Atlantic Germany & Sky 007 Germany. For some reason it seems the channel is retaining its original customised font and large font despite Sky1 and Sky Atlantic moving towards the Sky Europe guidelines.

New Sky Europe logos from the Sky Q TV Guide as seen on Swipe. Including the first look at the updated Sky Movies Logo, it still retains the slanted 'M' and large font size.

What's new about the Sky Movies logo? It looks the same?

And someone probably made a few thousand quid from that change.

The logo used on the Sky Q guide is actually the new 'print' Sky Movie logo. The New logo posted by Harry is the 3D version, which since has been updated with a different gradient but has retained the same bevelled text.

Each channel seems to be launching two separate logos. The print logos are 2D with a gradient on the upper part of the logo. Its just a flat image and does not look good in idents as there is not much you can do with it other than have it fade on screen.

For this reason a second logo is used on screen which is an actual 3D rendered object. The text and logo is bevelled and has been animated with a swirling white gradient moving across the logo with light refracting around the letters.

Sky Italia is using the print logos for everything, its idents use a white rectangle which rotates with the print logo textured across the front of it which looks very poor on screen. Sky Deutchland has went in the opposite direction with the 3D logos used on idents, breakbumpers, DOGs and trailers. It website is the only place the print logos can be seen. Sky UK is in the middle - it has started using the 3D logos on some of the Sky1 idents and all of the Sky Sports idents. It has also appeared on the new Sky Living trailer and on the endboard of the Sky Atlantic trailer for The Last Panthers. Menus and the majority of trailers across the Sky UK channels are still using the 2011 logos. Hopefully in 2016 all channels across Sky Europe will be more consistent.

The contrast/brightness levels in the ident for Fungus the Bogeyman are really dull on screen ...

Surely a little tinkering could have improved it?
