I agree they should move US shows off the Sky channels. I really don't know why Sky bought over Virgin Media's channels. The said Bravo was closed because it was in competition with Sky1 - sky1 audience has completely changed since then and is no longer in competition. Living was taken over to be the female channel, now only its homegrown shows are promoted, surly Sky didn't need to buy over the channel as it could have just launched a separate channel and commission home-grown shows for it. The 'Living' brand has also been damaged with the new purposely bad idents which replaced the decent ones from February 2011. I wonder how long Sky Atlantic will keep its current presentation as it idents contain scenes from the US, which for some reason Stuart seems to loath.
I think the only channel that's benefited from the takeover is Challenge thanks to more programmes being commissioned, better presentation, and a slot on Freeview. The only Bravo show I see regularly-ish is Dog the Bounty Hunter and a very occasional showing of Street Crime UK. (I'm probably forgetting the shows I didn't originally watch) And I haven't seen a single thing that used to be on Trouble, even when some of its library was moved over to Virgin 1.

I only used to watch/record my wife & kids, that finished on Virgin before the end I think which has not be aired since.

It crossed my mind only the other day how long it's been since I've seen My Wife and Kids. You'd think somebody somewhere would pick it up.

I think the only other show that's done well from Bravo is the Spartacus franchise.
Quite a few changes coming up to the movie channels this week. Along with the new Sky Movies Disney channel, they're renaming and merging a couple of others - Indie, Modern Greats and Classics are becoming Greats and Select.
Once upon a time, this would have been enough excuse for a whole rebrand of their channels, but they seem to be sticking with their branding a lot more these days!
The Sky Movies idents are very impressive, it's a shame that sort of quality is not seen with other idents these days, Sky Sports idents are very poor with those home of sport idents, its not really acceptable for a premium channel.
