The 'Sky Atlantic' logo is almost imperceptibly curved on the Sky and 'TIC' parts hinting at a curved surface to the glass effect. On the previous logo, and all remaining pres for that matter, the letters are straight.
As nice as the new themes are, it's a shame the original soundtrack hasn't been retained for one ident, shame as it was possibly the classiest Sky theme tune to date.

It's apparently to strengthen Sky Living. Sky1 still has a lot of new and returning shows coming up. Trollied for one.
Sky Living does need some strengthening, I'll admit that. But it has a core audience, women. Sky1 still seems rather lost as a channel. I can't quite tell if it's trying to be a digital equivalent of the core terrestrial channels or a miss-match of stuff Sky Atlantic and Sky Living don't want.

I assume this will actually be a temporary rebrand of Sky Movies Showcase, as is the case with Sky Movies Summer. I expect it'll last until Sky Movies Christmas, if that is the case.
