The service will be advertised as being 'powered by Sky'. It's not the most imaginative logo in the world but will be interesting to see what the advertising and user interface across various platforms looks like.

Its launching with just movies in the Summer, entertainment and sport will follow 'soon after'. Presumably a good chance sport will follow in time for the new Premier League season in mid-August.

The service sounds quite good, however the logo is awful - hopefully it will evolve rather drastically.

No, Sky Go is an add on for Sky subscribers i.e those with a satellite dish (although that is slightly muddled by it being offered to non-Sky subscribers from £9.99 for access to Sky Sports).

Now TV is essentially a response to Lovefilm and Netflix and is completely separate from standard Sky TV, it will have subscription and pay as you go options - in theory you could pay a one off fee to watch a particular movie or sporting event.

Great idea tonight for SKY Atlantic to have period adverts for Mad Men and the continuity announcer to be all stuffy and channels logo to be black and white and in 4:3.

When did the music on the Atlantic bridge and restaurant idents get updated? A couple of little twiddles here and there make a difference!

Any caps? I'm a fan of Atlantic's idents, such a shame Virgin doesn't carry the channel.
