What capture card have you got? I've got mine running on Windows 8 just fine using Windows 7 drivers.

Not really Sky Branding, but it's a channel on Sky (& Virgin) and I couldn't see the point of resurrecting the 'Universal Channel Rebrand' thread . . . Wink

It appears that Universal Channel had a little makeover last Sunday evening: to coincide with the resumption of Series 13 of 'Law & Order: SVU' (which is one of its most popular programmes).

This seems to be quite a decent upgrade, and rather better than the previous celebrity-based idents, which looked as though they'd been cobbled together from the former Hallmark Channel idents, but with a different logo and music slapped on. Shocked

Unusually Sky1 has created a 4th ident for Got to Dance which began airing after the season finale. The ident has its own unique soundtrack - video at Sky Idents http://skyidents.com/------got-to-dance-4-sd.php

Is the legibility of the "Channel of the Year" tagline on that ident as bad as the video on your site suggests? Not content with being conceptually boring, they're now just downright incompetent.

I mean the logo doesn't even do that fancy reflective glass thing any more; it just fades on. /huff

Yes it is that bad, white on white just doesn't work, it is only legible when Kim jumps by.

Sky have just announced they are creating an entirely new brand for their new pay as you go, OTT internet TV service. NOW TV launches in the Summer,

The service will be advertised as being 'powered by Sky'. It's not the most imaginative logo in the world but will be interesting to see what the advertising and user interface across various platforms looks like.

Its launching with just movies in the Summer, entertainment and sport will follow 'soon after'. Presumably a good chance sport will follow in time for the new Premier League season in mid-August.
