Sky+HD - Is it worth it?

You should notice the difference especially with Sky UK, as SD is broadcast at 544x676 rather then 720x576(The Beeb do use this).

However I was fooled today(just for a bit) watching a channel which turned out to be 720x576, its because it had little compression, I had to switch to the HD equivalent and I did notice the difference but not as much.

Not sure how Star will be in HD, Star Plus is worse then YouTube, and in India where it is in HD, its only upscaled.

The stuff on YouTube is off a SD star plus feed. You can get high quality (720 hd I think) on star player at startv.in
