With SKY beening 18 on the 05/02 do you think SKY will make it in any way. I think new logos on their 18th would be good.

BSkyB was founded in 1990 so it is not 18 it is 17, if Sky Television would have been 18

To be right SKY statred off in 1982 as SKY channel so that makes SKY 25 years old.

No matter when it started, it's 'Sky' not 'SKY'.

Sorry for being pedantic, but why do people insist on doing that?

It is actually both!!!!

It started off as "Sky" then became "SKY" for almost 20 years (or 12 years as BSKYB - hence the reason its all in capitals for the company name and not BSkyB!!!) and then became "Sky" once more and some of the channels actually use "sky" - but there again it all depends uppon which SKY/Sky/sky channel

The sky logo itself is in lower case:

Whereas the 'SKY Onc' logo i would interperte the 'SKY' bit being in uppercase because of the use of 'Y' over 'y'

Despite your images being broken, if you drag them into your browser address you can see them.

SKY is the name, but sky is corporate.

Well it's better than what some people on Digital Spy call it - they seem to like calling it $ky over there...

Anyway, I'm not really sure that 18 is considered a milestone by some people... they'd probably do something for their 25th year (like Channel 4 should be doing this year)... Radio and TV companies tend to make big announcements about years they've been broadcasting when they end in 5 or 0.

Didnt Channel 4 do something big for their 18th?
