Sky TV - when did you first get it?

When did you all get Sky?

I was an early starter - 1989!

I got Sky Digital 2 years ago. I think its pretty good.

Around the time when they launched 'Sky Multi-Channels' and the logo was the circle with the Sky Sports logo looking like this lSlPlOlRlTlSl , Whenever that was exactly?

I got Sky in 1989 and BSB when it launched. I also got cable in 1996, but I soon dumped it in favour of SkyDigital in October 1998.

All throughout though I had Sky and I did until a few months ago.

I got SkyDigital in November 00, but I had the then ONdigital from April 00

Not quite such an early starter, but a *fairly* early starter ... late 1991 ...

So I'm coming up on 10 years of brainwashing from Murdoch : )))

Just over 2 years - I got it on July 31 1999 - just a few months before News 24 went corporate!

My Big Brother had sky in about 1992 but then he stopped it in 1996 and we hav recentley had it re - fitted with a new mini dish in February this year.

I got Sky Digital in July 1999, and ON Digital a year later when coverage finally reached my area!

Yep 1989 here too.
I can't remember not having Sky actually. Although I remember very little of the original Sky idents. Only the Sky Movies theme sounds familiar.
Although I remember all of the 1993 idents perfectly.

Oh come on, didn't you invent Sky ?

I have had Sky Digital for about a year now and had On digital in my bedroom for about 6 months.
