Sky Travel Renamed

According to Digital Spy, Sky Travel is to be renamed to Sky Real Lives from November 7th.

Presumably this means more documentaries besides from travel then?

What a pants name!!! Surely Sky Life would be better??

Real lives sounds like some porn channel, Real live wives or something??

Er, Five Life?

And?

2 channels can be called Life?? No one gets Five Life and Life tv mixed up do they?

So then, Sky Travel is effectively being rebranded as something that'll effectively be an entirely different channel altogether.

(Unlike certain other channels that have been repackaged and relaunched, but not actually had their names changed.)

why are they starting to use their corporate logo on channels now?

Well, a new person at the top, has been sorting out the portfolio of channels,
with artsworld becoming Sky Arts (with the corporate logo);
a new autumn schedule for Sky One;
Sky Travel Shop becoming Sky Travel;
and Sky Travel, Sky Travel +1, and Sky Travel Extra becoming
Sky Real Lives
Sky Real Lives +1
Sky Real Lives 2
(all corporate logos)
respectively...

Perhaps if the other channels re-brand, they may receive the corporate logo, but that didn't work in the case of Sky Sports...

This channel smells strongly of phlegm.

Has anyone seen the 'Prision break' billboards around town?? I saw one today and it had a strange Sky Onc logo. Instead of the usual Grey/White Sky and the blue Onc, The whole word 'Sky Onc' was in some strange light red/pinkish colour?
Also it looked like the sky logo was different? Maybe it was the corporate one?

Anyone else seen it?

Yeah there's one at the bottom of my road, the SKY is very pale pink, and the ONE is darker, the font which says 'New Prison, New Break, Exclusive to Sky One' is different to the current font used on Sky one/two/three.

Hey, I like that Sky Real Life logo!

Trebuchet actually works for that logo.
