That was fast Martin.....and many thanks!

That must have been the "softest" launch ever - not even a "hello and welcome to Sky Three".

Even ITV3 mentioned that it was a new channel joining the "ITV Family", and that was supposed to be a soft launch too. They've been beaten by Sky on this one. Let's see what happens tomorrow with ITV4 Smile

Yes, quite, something like "Now on Sky Three" like we've been watching it for weeks now, no introduction, fanfare, nothing. And what do we get first, Sky News, great. But if you're already watching Sky Three, you already have access to this programme. The disappearance of Sky Travel from the platform I'm sure is going to be baffling to some viewers.

I suspect that Sky Travel had become more successful than they expected. It's a good channel and I watch it quite often. They will no doubt transfer most of the "entertainment" elements from Travel to Three and change Travel's schedule back to what it was originally.

From the programme listings Sky Three will be a decent channel (for Freeview viewers) and I think they are aiming it more upmarket than the other freebies available (apart from BBC/ITV/C4 etc)

Mmmm, those new break-bumpers are really nice !!!!! Very Happy Very Happy

I'd keep trying if I were you, perhaps some of the transmitters haven't received the new data (although I'm no expert on DTT). You're not missing anything, they are simply simulcasting Sky News at the moment!

With its own single colour scheme, it seems more seperate from Sky One and Two which share the same colour schemes, apart from the blue and yellow swap.

Ha ha, second programme, and they have a breakdown. This has to be contender for biggest channel launch disaster on record.

No probs here on DSat Charlie, are you watching only on Freeview?

Also, there are plenty of promos for Sky One, I wonder if Sky intend to buy a slot on Top-Up TV......it may be worth there while in the end.

On FreeView I'm now getting a voice loop saying...
"There is a fault, normal service will be resumed as soon as possible"
...along with...

Four minutes of nothing and counting. It's a shame that these days, all one has to do in order to broadcast a channel is load up an automated computer with programmes and then walk off.

Generic Sky fault caption and looped announcement now.
