Can you blaim them though? Its a business move, and it does offer more variety than Sky Travel does, so win win for freeview and sky?
I imagine Sky three will be quite a serious toned channel. The promo running, even though its generic sky digital stuff, is quite arty and serious in comparison to their other promotional stuff.

I think the simulcast of Sky News on Three is indicative of how Sky view the channel. It's just a taster service for Sky Digital.
It's a bit like chopping a sweet in half, giving it to a child, and saying ''if you like it, give me some money and you can have the rest of it''. They're just trying to attract the audience across to existing Sky channels on Freeview (Sky News mostly) and over to Sky One. I'd bet that around 60% of the promos on the channel will be for stuff on Sky One.
