New channel for Sky? (July 2005)

Anyone else think the 1995 Sky gravestone ident music was done on a really old keyboard by the sound of it? (particularly Sky Soap and Sky News)

They can be useful on some channels, such as the popular ones as UKTV Gold, E4 or Discovery, but it can get pointless on channels that either show total rubbish or stuff thats going to be repeated anyway, say if a Shopping channel had a +1, that would be a new low.

Granted UKTV Gold is pure repeats, but that is it's selling point, and the repeats are usually of a high standard, unlike the drivel on UKTV Style etc.

Sorry to be pedantic but

1) A +1 shopping channel already exists - Screenshop 2*

2) A +1 on a live shopping channel wouldn't work because its more than likely that all the stock on a particular item will be sold by then and the onscreen information would be wrong - leading to accusations of misleading consumers etc.


* I'm not 100% sure on this - I think I read it somewhere that Screenshop2 is a timeshifted / reorganised version of Screenshop 1

Screenshop 2 was actually +30mins. And when price-drop launched it replaced Screenshop 2 anyway!

price drop only broadcasts 8am-1am - screenshop 2 is in its downtime

+30mins? so its like Screenshop +0.5?
