No, they just have to stop coming up with ridiculously elongated channel names!
They would end up with two different channels listed as Sky Action HD though. Really they just need to fix up the EPG - surely with all the updates over the years they could have given a few more characters to the channel names.

I think we said last time the character count is limited to 14 characters because of the TV Guide although there's stacks of room on the Search & Scan banner for "Sky really really long and pointless name HD"
. Remember pop up movie channel Sky Fairy Tales which got horribly abbreviated to "SkyFairyTlsHD" on the guide? Ugh.
It's obviously not a quick fix to extend the character count, otherwise they'd have done it by now, surely?
With regard to the Sports, I'd say just chop the "SkySp" off, like The Open entry, and it would be fine and solve all that abbreviation crap they've been forced to use for 401 to 404. There's obviously some reason somewhere why they've had to shoe-horn SkySp onto the entries, must be branding, surely?
