Will be interesting to see if Martin Tyler commentates the Champions League games for Sky - he's been doing it (including the final) for years on SBS in Australia.

How unfair. We have to put up with ITV Sport's Clive Tyldesly and Ron Atkinson. Rolling Eyes
How many contracts does Martin Tyler have? I know hes commentated on the most matches for a British commentator, and thats just for his work on Sky Sports. He's the best commentator around I reckon.

Sky have introduced a slightly different look for this weekends Premiership football.

The Ford Destination Football intro stays the same but now the Ford Super Sunday logo zooms out and crossfades to Premiership Trophy and the Sky Sports logo forming up. Then the teams are introduced with a virtual football which has the two team badges rotating around as if part of the ball. The two team names in the centre and the Sky Sports & Barclaycard Premiership logo rotating around.

Any chance of caps?

I bet we're the only country to get it all in 16:9 though.

That's correct, it's 4:3, as expected, not surprising though, but it's hard to tell off a mosiac screen picture!

I preferred the rotating team logos for the virtual graphics. That was awesome as the name band morphed into the strap on the screen. I'm liking the score box a bit more though - it is small and easy to read and it animates nicely.

Hey, that's handy - they've all scored a goal at the same time on each of the 8 screens! Very Happy

The graphics suggest to me they will be using Champion League's graphics but perhaps modified to the Sky Sports style?

I think the host broadcaster has to use generic Champions' League graphics, but they can be adapted slightly for home broadcast ie, ITV are allowed to use their own variation of the graphics which feature the ITV Sport logo and have more animation.
