I've not got any screenshots but having looked at them properly, they look excellent.
By far the best sports graphics on TV.
I'd guess they will have to adopt the generic Sky branding sooner or later. Hopefully this will mean a new set of info panels for Sky Sports News - or they could get rid of them totally!
The little goal DOg used on Sky Sports is excellent - looks really good with that dark blue and sliver.
Why are the Beeb not using Sky graphics for the news?!

So Sky Sports, as revealed in the TVhome forum by myself yesterday with pictures, introduced their first overhall of football graphics in 3 years. They are excellent & are heavily influenced by ESPN or ABC (can't remember) in America. The reason BBC didn't carry any Sky Sports graphics is that they would have received a clean aston-free feed of Sky's coverage for their MOTD highlights later. They would however receive a feed with the logos superimposed on the pitch & the sequences used to introduce replays.
I've just got back from Cardiff's Millennium Stadium & grabbing some air! The first ever competitive English (probably UK) match to be played indoors (the roof was on) meant it was hard to breathe by the second half. It was my first visit to the stadium & I was very impressed. Millennium Stadium puts Wembley's press facilities to shame. Whereas in London you could hardly move in the VERY small room provided, in Cardiff the 2 VERY large rooms for the media mean that you can actually breathe & move around easily. Infact they are probably some of the best facilities in the country.

Yeah the Millennium Stadium is brilliant not only for us media types but for spectators as well. Now if only wales would do better at rugby....(wishful thinking)!
Anyway back to the topic in hand I thought that broadcasters tried to keep the graphics similar for sporting events when broadcast on multiple channels (e.g Cricket on 4 and Sky), or have i just been wrongly informed of such matters?

They give you better food though in the Wembley press room (in its day)!

Re: The weeekend's PGA Tour Golf event at Celtic Manor in Newport (I stayed a mile away from their on Saturday night!). BBC Wales carried highlights from the event introduced by Frances Donovan, with the Sky Sports graphics. The reason for this is that Sky produce the coverage for the Tour so other broadcasters taking feed of the event use the Sky Sports graphics. The same happens when C4/BBC show highlights of England's cricketers on tour normally.

I thought that the BBC's on screen graphic for the Charity Shield Highlights was HUGE and so unnecessary. What happened to small and discreet. The ITV Sport Channel have a permanent on screen DOG (or should that be DINGO) if full colour.
