Sky Sports now have all home Wales games till 2012.

Would be cheaper to go down to the damn stadium.

new ticker style on Sports saturday - now has a flickering cursor and the text animates upwards rather than disappears cleanly.

SKY SPORTS will show all of Wales home qualifying matches for the 2010 World Cup and 2012 European Championships exclusively live, under a new deal awarded today.

The FA of Wales has extended Sky’s exclusive live deal to its home international football matches for a further four years, to include seasons 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11 and 2011-12.

Under the agreement, Sky Sports will also show all friendly internationals played at home, and a number of Under-21 internationals, exclusively live each season.

That aside, with the new football contract coming into effect in August, are there plans for a gfx change across Sky Sports, prticularly Sky Sports News?

Isn't the plan just to rename Sky Sports Xtra?


I bet they'll probably end up making a seperate HD channel or something, like they've now done with Sky Movies.
