A total of 10 in almost 20 years. Between 1995 and 1998 the changes were almost annual, but reflected the revamped general on screen look for all of Sky's channels at the time, and some were quite similar.
Since 1998 the changes have become less frequent, usually lasting for about 3 years, although the latest one only started in February 2008.

I rather liked the orange lot. Could've done with some upbeat musical accompaniment though. Similar to its predecessor perhaps.

12 if you count the 2 logos it had before being renamed Sky One:

They've had their current logo since 2003, so that makes it 5 years, about the same length the BBC Balloons and Dancers were around for, so they are due a change, but I do wish they could have kept the current logo, but change everything else to give it a big brand, on par with Channel 4 and BBC One...

Thanks, I did try that but one ended up a little on the large side for some reason

The first four Sky Channel (and by saying this, I'm discounting the fact that Sky Channel had already been on air since the early 1980s as a pan-European station) idents were all pretty similar and had the same soundtrack. Only the very first one was any way different, in that the "camera" zoomed out at the the end to leave the logo small in the centre of the screen. The next three were identical apart from the "Channel"/"One" text.
The original music was briefly revived in 1999 on the "Celebrating 10 years" ident.
Also remember that while the logo was the same 1998-2001, the idents tended to be changed nearly every three months, the soundtrack changed a couple of times from the original "Brimful of Asha".

They've had the logo for 5 years but they are finally doing something creative with it. The current ident is the best thing they've done with this logo. I don't understand the need to change the logo all of the time. In America ABC, NBC & CBS have had their logo's for decades with many refreshes along the way. You can refresh the logo like the 2 and the 4 but there's no need to change it.
