What's this? No more annoying breaks during a scene?
Hopefully so, as long as OFCOM don't back track when the inevitable complaints due to 8-minute parts come in considering the general complainer probably isn't aware of the changes.
After all, the 20-minute rule was supposed to have a degree of flexibility to deal with imported programmes, but a couple of years ago OFCOM seemed to back track and we were back to the mid-scene cuts again.
As for the rebrand - looking good, but can't quite work out if it's modern or dated. And for once people seem happy with the DOG following a revamp, though I bet it'll get made 4:3 safe sooner rather than later.
