Those were the days.

That video is tragic and american.

Those idents were made by an American company if I'm not mistaken.

From my understanding a lot of CGI idents in those days were made from the US.

Aye, i know that, don't know why, they say british pres in those days was 'Prisy and overdone' or something, according to tv-ark.

I'd just settle for Sky's channels in decent SD resolution instead of the blurry mush we currently have to endure.

Sky1 has launched it's new look website (sky1.sky.com), looks much better than their previous effort.

Hmm, lot better than before, like the background, still ,with such a well advertised relaunch, why are they waiting till sunday.

Because Sunday is Sky 1's key programming night.

There is no point launching it on a Friday or Saturday night when very few people will be watching.

I like the new look actully, really nice and cool, haven't seen any of the other idents apart from the Bones one, but that one really looks good!

Very nice looking website, and liking the look more with every aspect that's unveiled.
One thing that I hope they do improve is how they treat sky 2 & 3, though I doubt that they will as they're only promoting the relaunch as sky1.

I know that the main idea of sky 2 & 3 is to repeat programmes from sky1, but they could at least set up variants of the sky 1 website for 2 & 3. Though I do like the idea that there would be different types of programmes on all three channels, so if you don't like sky1, you may like sky 2 or 3.
