As much as I like the new logos (and I do, I think they're very nice), I still really like the old ones, as they were very clever IMO. I don't see why they had to be changed really, considering they're relatively short life - but I suppose it was good to retire them whilst they were still quite fresh.

There's been a sneaky 'pre-airing' of the new-look DOG, IPP and programme lineup style for Sky 2 - accidental or not!?
Happened very late last night, coming out of a break. The programme lineup airs without a voiceover, and the DOG stays on screen for 30 seconds before it is faded out and replaced with the current - check the video.

Maybe this was a test-run or something similar, but I shouldn't have thought it was necessary
Has the same happened on Sky One or Three? Interesting though.

The Sky 1 DOG and IPP have been spotted, as shown earlier in this thread, obviously a mistake:

I think things would've been a bit more abrupt if it was accidental. From that though, I'm impressed.

I'm impressed with those 'sneak previews'!
I'm of the same mind as Jugalug in that the existing set of idents for the Sky entertainment channels are good. It seems a shame to lose something decent after such a short time when so many channels are continuing with second rate drivel in terms of presentation.
However, I'm quite looking forward to seeing the full revamp on Sunday. I must confess that I don't watch Sky 1/2/3 very much these days, but I shall certainly be taking a look!

I hope Sky2 HD is on the way soon - there's about another 4 HD channels coming before Christmas that haven't been announced yet aside from all the movie genre channels and Real Lives, MTV's expected to be one of them. Aside from the extra chance to catch up on shows, that programme menu with Sky2's liquidy thing looks like it would look really nice in HD.

Oh dear. I am disappointed in myself.

A little fairy and a cute kitten die horribly every time a grammatical error is made on this board!
