Sky One up the spout tonight

Sky One has had problems for a couple of hours now. Sound drop outs, no announcer, no widescreen, all experienced tonight.

Good thing is though, no DOG.

I noticed that the sound started dropping at around 18:50 during the Simpsons. Very annoying, so I changed channel.

Is Sky One automated the majority of the time??

Mind you, even if it is, you'd have thought that someone at Osterley would have noticed by now!

I'm also getting some test cards being shown for a few seconds during the ads on Telewest Broadband.

Something has broken...

sky one is automated all of the time. other than the loading, ads, programmes and announcements on the server, from what i have read the channel requires no human intervention to playout.

Yes - it's been pregnant before.

Sky One has in the past given birth to Sky Two ( a sad case of infant mortality), and Sky One Mix, a somewhat ******* of a child.

Not sure who the father is, but the mother is the Dawnster who should acquit herself of her maternal responsibilities and buy back her previous progeny from the Germans.

Interesting sense of humour.

How about the Sky Channel as the father. As soon as Sky One was born. Sky Channel buggered off to have other children like The Movie Channel and the Comedy Channel amongst others.
