Myself and a few houses nearby as I have enquired are not getting Sky One. Simply saying that there is a technical problem with this channel. Is it a localised weather problem or are others here experiencing this?

Its everywhere - and is affecting most of the Sky channels - probably some major problem at the uplink site at Chilworth - You can join the queue on Sky's customer service number to find out what the exact fault was if you want!

Sky Two was flickering earlier for me...

Sky Sports 1 and 3 were down at the start of the Man U game. A big thread in the Sky forum on Digital Spy.

They charge 12p per min. and keep you on for at least 10 mins!

Am I the only one who finds it nothing short of a disgrace that Sky make you use an 0870 number (which costs up to 25p a minute depending on your phone provider) and wait up to half an hour (sometimes only to cut you off after the wait) for technical support on matters which are often patently their fault?

Try this brilliant site, they have loads of alternative numbers from paying 0870.
