Although we have Sky, it will be hard to watch it around the 7pm-Midnight slot because of my parents watching other things. I will probably have to wait for the DVD's.
I hope C4 don't lose Desperate Housewives as well.

I can see why Sky have done this, but it won't work. Just because they got 24 didn't mean I got Sky, and I won't now they've gotten lost. I'll just wait for the DVD boxset as I did with recent seasons of 24.
But intrestingly MG seems to show that intrest in Lost is falling, and I guess if you've not seen the first season it wouldnt make sence so only true fans will follow it into season 3,4, so it'll be intresting to see how well it does on Sky One...
The director of programming for Sky One, Two and Three, Richard Woolfe, commented: "We're absolutely thrilled to bring Lost to Sky One. The series has defined TV drama over the last two years and has been the envy of every network."
"Has been" being the key part of that statement. Lost is on its way out, it's losing its appeal fast, and Channel 4 have made a very wise decision in not being drawn into a bidding war with Sky.

I agree. Figures fell and it's no longer the 'mainstream hit' it was during its first series. Channel 4 could easily get more viewers with a cheap home grown show than paying a large amount of money for a show which pulls in very few viewers.
Still, I am shocked by the news - I'm still a Lost fan, and although I have Sky One in the house, other family members watch that TV so it would be difficult for me to catch it. I hope Channel 4 holds on to Desperate Housewives - I hear they're still in negotiations for that. It would be even worse for Channel 4 if they lost both of them.
They can't do this. Surely there must be a law stating that a programme must be shown on analogue AND both digital. But because of the digital switchover that law is now out of the picture.
Like someone else said I wouldn't normally be able to view it on Sky One as there's someone else there watching another channel on digital.
I sometimes watch Channel 4 on analogue in my room because of this but it can be very uncomfortable upstairs and I don't want Sky to take the rights of distributing it.
