Maybe a Platform-wide relaunch then, with these channels being on the Digital Platform, it would co-inside with the Sky News re-launch???
I'd have thought so, when was the last time they did a full relaunch of one and not the others?

When Sky One introduced it's current logo - a few months before everyone else relaunched. And Sky One, Sky Sports 2, and Sky Premier are not closing on analogue yet. Can anyone tell me if Eurosport and CNN are staying on analogue beyond Saturday? The worse thing is, my analogue Sky system has blown a fuse - luckily it can be fixed - I want to go digital, but mum says no! (I'm only 17, you have to be 18 to get Sky, so I'd need it to be in my mum's name!)
Sky One - May 1998
Sky Sports - August 1998 (start of football season)
Sky Movies - September 1998 (launch of Premier and Moviemax)
Sky News / Travel - October 1998 (launch of SkyDigital)
All other main Sky logo changes have been on the same day, though occasionally there were minor overhauls of the idents of one or other of the channels.
Of course, they could just be re-designing the website

But Sky News' site is still open - if they're getting a new logo, surely their site would be shut too?

Sky News website was revamped a short time ago and the current logo some say looks really out of place and the colour scheme matches better with the current astons/graphics than the old ones.

Ah. That explains it - what about Sky Sports and Sky Movies then?

I think Sky should ditch all the current logos and go for something bold or generic like the 1995 idents.
My favourite Sky One idents are the Egg ones from 1997 though. Does anyone know a website with them on?
