Anyway, moving on. If that is the new Sky News look, as also on DigitalSpy then I will not be a happy bunny! I thought I could see the end of those white astons!
The colour scheme reported by DigitalSpy also seems to be out of place, wouldn't fit in with the studio at all. Red, fine for breaking news but I don't think they would use it all the time.
I'm sure Sky News will go and prove me wrong and use red ALL the time now!

I agree - looking at the pics on Digital Spy they just don't look right... although they fit in with many of the things we've been told I'm just hoping they will be better than that!

Take a look above the video wall on Sky News, they have covered up the
SKY NEWS SKY NEWS SKY NEWS
with what looks like a black sheet. They also don't have any camera angles where you can see that on the white strap above the presenters. Looks like there putting the new logo there. Let's hope its better than whats been appearing on Digital Spy.

Correction: The white strap is still there with SKY NEWS SKY NEWS on it, only the video wall has had the logo covered up.

Has anybody noticed that to the right of the studio, where the sports presenter/news paper critic often sits there is now blue/gold map? that has'nt been there long... has it? i noticed the one on the left at launch though... so maybe we will see some suble changes on monday.
Do you think they are gonna be doing anything with the front of that desk? the shade of blue is such that some sort of keying effect could be applied to it? or do you think its merely a big sticky piece of plastic that'll be removed to reveal the new logo??
