Kay Burley and Simon McCoy are on together at the moment, so maybe they are expecting something important...

<---ALSO AN EXAMPLE OF SKY NEWS BANTER--->

KAY
'wet in the north, drier down south, chilly a bit yuky'

SIMON
'A bit Yuky?'

KAY
'i like the word'

SIMON
'lets bring on that map again... wet in north chilly and drier in the south and a bit yuky?!?!?'

KAY
'well i knew you should have done the weather'

A happy laugh and into the adverts

I don't think they think anything serious is going to happen, I think they have just relegated Chris Rodgers to a less important slot because all he can do is sit there and smile (this is obviously why he was bumped for JT on Sept 11th).

I thought there was plenty more banter than that this afternoon!

Chris Rogers was on the daytime shift yesterday (sunday).

Has anyone ever worked with Simon McCoy? He seems to have an 'arrogant' edge to him. Or is it his on-screen persona?

Yes I agree about Simon McCoy. I think he's very arrogant, rather like Gordon Radley, who occasionally does overnights. Talk about sourface. What is it about Sky News Presenters?

I think that Mark Longhurst is hugely underrated. I rarely watch Sky News, but when I do I think he's great - no-one ever mentions him!

I could just see him on the 10 on BBC ONE....... Smile

It is always trouble putting Kay and Simon together!

A couple of days ago Kay explained that if people were having trouble using the interactive services then they should get a child to do it for them. She said her small boy knew how to do it. Simon said that he was always happy to help her!!
