Why are some of you going on about Sky News' new website having the old logo? It's incredibly easy to change the logo if they want to, so why do it before they change it on the channel?

I expect they are testing the new format for the website and later on they will get new logo's etc. and as you say, its easy to change a logo!
Asa, thanks fir uploading the travel ident so quickly. I think its highly likly that, that or something very similar to that (ie, a bit of a bleep and a swosh with sky and the channel being bown up a bit) to be spread across all sky channels very soon. And I like it. Lets look at the facts, that ident could be eaily applied generically, news should be getting an overhaul with idents and logos, new sky news website which a generic logo would fit nicly into the space, sky have got the taste for long one line logos from sky sports, they have dropped the swoosh AND on the website in the movies bit there is peice saying Sky Movies in that (very nice - anybody know where to get it) type face. I think a new look is very close, also maybe a return to Sky Movies Screen 1, 2, 3, etc? I havn't got sky but from a distance I always thought that screen 1, 2, was better.
Hmm, should I tell you or not, that is the question, as you will only go and start up another thread saying 'are Sky News, CNN and EuroNews news channels?' (In fact they have more claim to being news channels than News24, but that is another arguement!) EuroNews is available by the recently launched EuroBird sattelite.
It is in testing at the moment, and is sometimes there, sometimes not.
I have just looked and at this present time it aint there, was earlier today.
I think the frequency is 11.681 (V)
However, whilst EuroBird is still sorting itself out, as it was only launched at the end of last month, I think, signals are very weak, hence it is sometimes there, sometimes not!

If the above means nothing to you, then do not go and mess about with the system settings in the digibox, although it isnt possible to damage anything without getting into the secret installer menu! you can still do something you might not like.
