Just read the Sky Customer Magazine which I got this morning, and in the 'News in Brief' section at the front of it, it confirms (i guess) that Sky News is going to have a new set, and a presnter shuffle, with some new ones coming in.
Also the fact that the Sky magazine is completely different now with no listings or anything.... maybe they didn't thing that people would be interested in changes to a news channel.
Well, I think we can (probably) conclude that the relaunch won't be anything mind-blowing. If there were major new innovations/exciting new changes etc coming our way, I think Sky would have made a bigger deal of it than a NIB in the customer mag (trailers etc) - look at the way CNN plugged the new-look Headline News! So I guess the best we can hope for is an interesting new set
I'm not sure really. They've spent so long on this relaunch that it is hard to believe there aren't going to be pretty massive changes - even if they are mainly behind the scenes.
The set sounds pretty good though, more open and this videowall sounds very impressive.
I think if you look at the wording of the article (although I haven't seen it myself, i'm going off what's been said) it says is 'going to' - future tense.
You may find that Sky don't do a feature on it until it has actually relaunched - they aren't going to reveal pictures of the new studio in an article BEFORE the relaunch itself!!
I'd expect something bigger in the next issue, once it has actually relaunched.

And a brand spanking new logo, of course.

I know it's been said before but when's the relaunch date? I've forgot!
