1st July 6am. There's no rule saying it can't change on a Sunday, and it'll close on analogue either at that time, or at midnight. In any case, Sky News won't be on analogue on July 1st. The analogue closure is the reason for my choice of date.
Last time the relaunch was on a Thursday, and they may want to kick off with the fact that they have none of this feature programming at weekends, so Sunday may be a good day.
And it does, as Mr Spiring said, appear to be on the same day as the analogue closure, which would make a lot of sense.
The 1995 relaunch was on a Sunday (as was the original 1989 launch of Sky News). As previously stated the 1998 relaunch was Thursday 1/1/98. 1/1/93 relaunch was a Wednesday. Only the 1997 'egg' rebrand was a Saturday (1/11/97). And Sky has never changed look on a Monday...until now, anyway...

It's usually on the 1st of the month - if it is this time, I'm probably correct - we'll know at the weekend, won't we!
At 2:00 the Sky News DOG moved and it was too far down the screen! It was out of the graphic safe area and means that I only got three quarters of it.
The astons were in the same place but the DOG had moved, surely this could be an indication of a new on screen DOG? Well, maybe not but it could have something to do with the relaunch.
Your Call is on now and the DOG appears to have returned to normal.

Technical bug - 'cos of the new astons, no doubt. I'd say that's proof of the new look, wouldn't you?
