Sky News will NOT scrap full sports news because SS.comTV doesn't have access to the 'sports news' agreement.

ie. when sport is on another channel (eg F1) & Sky has no rights, SS.com CAN'T put 'Pictures from ITV Sport'

Sky News, on the other hand, is a member, so can with certain conditions show sports footage from other channels. It dates back to the 80s & before when the news broadcasters would just send there own cameras to events their channel weren't sports broadcasting. IT STOPPED this
