Well here's the reason why Sky News havent updated the logo on their website:

Well that explains it. But unless you want the Sky News logo to disappear from this thread when it does change, someone should upload it!

Well they've made them slightly smaller! Changed the live DOG and a couple of other changes.

Still work to be done.

It occured to me earlier that these huge fonts might be designed so that the text is readable when you're viewing Sky active / Sky News active; i.e. where the picture is 1/4 screen.

Anyone think this may be why they've done it?

I think the reason why they have done this is to create a tabliod image. Having just seen the new look Sky News for the first time last night, I was well impressed with the overall look, particually the opening titles/music. The only bad comment to make is that the text at the botton of the screen is quite big. But im okay with that as I find it easier to read (well i am short sighted) lol! Very Happy But how people prefer the News24 look to the new Sky News is way beyond me!!!

I noticed they changed the two large maps on either side of the desk behind the glass to something that looks completley different, also watching late last night, throughout the bulltin they where filmimg from the left of the desk so as not to see the newsroom, and when they did, you could see why. About 5 pixies cleaning the newsroom, very amusing
