One thing that makes SKY news look more American is the swish fast ident when they do a live report, it looks cool.

Only got a glimpse of it this morning before heading out for work. Thankfully tv-ark have some rm files of the new presentation. Access them from : http://www.tv-ark.co.uk/arkextra.html. Personally I agree with Asa, the top lefthand looks too fussy with all those fonts and colours, and the Astons are far too big.....pitty really....even my mother who never notices anything commented on their size!

Nooooooooooo! They are still using a white aston for Sky News Flash - Breaking News. I was hoping we'd seen the last of those white astons....
I love the new studio graphics and music. I just wish the onscreen graphics were not as big.

Sorry where are those .rm files I can't seem to find them anywhere!!
Oh, and BTW, I think that Sky News looks great now. The studio, the videowall are fab. The graphics are still too big, and I'm not sure about that huge logo on the front of the desk, but on the whole it looks so fresh and vibrant.
I look at News 24 now and it seems quite dull in comparison.

I'm sorry, but the on-screen graphics look absolutely terrible. They look like they have been produced during the lunch break by someone with a wicked, twisted sense of humour. Size is too big, colours are old-fashioned, and the overall composition laughable and un-professional. And what are those sidebars??
They should change the graphics quickly before anyone notices...

What are you talking about! Im my opinion this re-launch is perfect! The only thing that needs work on are the astons.
