Wonder why they are going with a "series" commissioning style approach to their feature/analysis programming. Why don't they just have them year round like FOX News do?

Noticed Littlejohn returns next week according to Sky EPG. It's at 7.00pm, and has been cut down to 30 minutes, and runs Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (and I think it was said on here Thursdays as well, but EPG doesnt go to Thurs next week at time of posting).

No sign of 3D, or a daily Adam Boulton politics show though.

There are no plans for 3D to return.

That's quite a shame, as I thought it worked better than Littlejohn, and balanced the programmes out.

Also, noticed on Sunrise this morning, with a preview of Sunday with Adam Boulton that the new set at Westminster seems to have a mini-newswall. Looks quite good from the limited shot.

Ooooh, the new Westminster studio is gorgeous, it's even got it's own newswall. The set designers still have it. Now, how about giving Sky News Centre a second studio for Sunrise, the old RI:SE set would be ideal.

Ooooh. Interesting look. A slightly different take on the Sky News logo as well.

It has an informal look to it, yet it still seems to maintain a sense of authority.

Any news on a date for the new music etc? Wouldn't be tomorrow would it, to tie in with the new Littlejohn shows?

Honestly don't know when. I know there was/is a presentation review in progress and that there are at least some things that are going to be changed for certain.

Certainly expect some changes to the main studio/newsroom area, though, and we already know they are planning to make use of the Westminster studio for more newsy programming.

Have to say... it does look fantastic. Certainly one of the most impressive designs I've ever seen in the UK.

Those captures don't really do it justice, actually.

The blue wall, where Darling is sitting, stretches all the way round, has a large plasma screen on it and another Sky News logo blazing out.

Considering Sky has spent most of its life sticking with the same thing, it's good that finally they are paying some serious attention to their studios, and doing a very impressive job of it.

The new Westminster studio is lovely!! As has been said - an interesting and nice take on the current Sky News logo...a sign perhaps?

Anyway, love the fact they've finally made the red and blue look workable together - its a very nice set design and let's hope we see more of the same for the main newsroom set (or even a second studio!!)

What time is Sunday with Adam Boulton repeated?

Looks very nice indeed - i'd imagine that they'll use the newsroom and mini newswall as the background for any news presentation that comes from there in much the same way that they do at Sky Centre.

I love the way the red and blue not only represent the Sky News colours, but also the two main political parties - although the Lib Dems won't be happy... Wink
