I must say, I really do like it. The whole thing could maybe do with being a bit more polished though, at the moment from what I've heard, the music seems to just fade in and out on the beds. Not heard top of the hour yet on TV but I liked what I heard on the clip posted here.
They changed the current main Sky News logo about 2 weeks after it was introduced (remember it used to fly in from the left of the screen with terrible tacky "flying motion lines" rather than the current fly-through onto the globe) so there may be more changes to roll out over the next few days.
Must say I saw Sunrise this morning and hated the music - I would prefer any of the previous tunes right back to 1989 rather than this bunch !
By the way - how many of you have emailed news@sky.com to register your opinion ? (They *do* read the emails......!)

Does anyone have any captures of this?
I'm normally very open minded with changes, but the more sombre sounding music just doesn't fit the more jingoistic graphics!
EDIT: It is growing on me though
Is this the only change we will see or will we see an alteration in graphics in the coming months.
Just on my lunch break now and saw the 3pm TOTH, much better than what I saw on Sunrise this morning (if you didn't see it, you could hardly hear Bruce Hammal's voiceover and the titles ended really abruptly, it looked as shambolic as the average News 24 TOTH!) but still I think the very last thing that Sky News needed to change with it's presentation was the music.
It's not that bad, but not as good as what it replaced. What I'm hoping is that the reason it hasn't come with new graphics is that they're waiting until they can get widescreen sorted out.
Just seen the video of Sky News Today titles.. again, the music's not terrible but it doesn't really seem to go with the pictures.
So far we've had 3 different sets of titles. I wonder if we might see something different for Live At Five...
Normally working at this time, but I see the headline sequence at 3.30 included a quick report from the 'on-the-scene' reporter. Is this part of the new 'creative director' thing?
Also, I've seen 'Latest' used twice now instead of 'News Alert' or 'Breaking News'. Is this new today? I know it was used during the war, and I prefer it to NA or BN.

No, it's been used for most of the Hutton Inquiry I think, as has the Latest strap.
The new music is quite good, the beds are much better than the old ones, but the problem with the title music is that it doesnt exactly match very well with the visuals.
I actually like the new backing music when it starts the music starts to kick in. The backing track actually goes with the old theme tune. Its very dramatic and news like, but i still prefer the old one!
And why does Martin where that microphone durinbg sky news today?
Live at Five has had the same sort of intro as the 1-5pm slot this afternoon.
I can't help but want to give an overall verdict on today's changes of "badly dubbed Tampax advert" for some reason. It has that sort of dodgyness to it.
