Sounds good. Unfortnately, in accordance with sod's law, now the idiots have put it back 3 weeks, I'll be going to France within days of the relaunch and won't be back until Christmas! Grrrrrr.
Oh, and what are 'fast moving, Fox News-style studio shots'? When I saw Fox News on Sky News Active the other day, the studio shots looked pretty standard! If you mean what I think you do, are these shots a bit like the panning angles they used to use in the Match of the Day studio last season?

The 'Fox News' style camera shots involve a camera called a 'jimmy-jib' a sort of mini crane. The camera can get into all sorts of places high and low and can move up and down and side to side with great speed this will be feature of the new look sky news which instead of being called 'Sky News on THE HOUR' because it will be non-stop with no feature programmes all generic programmes eg. Not Sunrise and not LIVE at 5 will be called SKY NEWS FIRST but will start with a SKY NEWS BRIEF FOR 1 MINUTE WHICH WILL RUN BOTH ON SKY NEWS AND SKY ONE
Yes - SKY NEWS FIRST!!! This was my prediction for what they'd call the normal programmes!
It all sounds very American-style - I like it!

Oooh...interesting. Very interesting. I presume Mr ReLaunchNow is a Sky insider?!
One minute briefs at the top of the hour on Sky News and Sky One - very interesting. They have been extending the headlines at some points, ie. Today at Noon, Live at Five, so they last almost a minute...
Like the sound of the new cameras and new graphics and everything - wow!
But we still have three more weeks to wait.... ah well...

The presenter line-ups look interesting...
Kay moving back to Sunrise and that programme seemingly still there and extended...
I see they have still got kind of feature programmes like Sky News Today sandwiched between the 10am - noon slot and the 2pm to 5pm slot.
Chris Rogers got the big early evening slot it seems - Sky News The Scene @ 6 and 7 sound interesting - thinking about it quite a good name really! Will be interesting - and being single-headed I presume it wil be a kind of Live at Five / Six O'Clock News style programme rounding up.
Jeremy Thompson gets the job of just presenting the Ten O'Clock News then... he seems quite a good anchor so I wonder if he'll stay in the studio for long for just half an hour a day?
Also from that info it looks like there will be weather through the day - ReLaunch Now says from Sky Weather Centre - will they use the videowall? Also business through the day as well...
It looks interesting and could be really good!!

Of course I'm assuming all this is true... And judging from other posts from another member who joined just this morning I'm not sure...

Notice how Sunrise is now starting at 5am, wonder if that has anything to do with this new BBC News show?!

FANTASTIC! Natasha Kaplinsky and Chris 'Is that a name or a hobby?' Rogers from 5pm! Obviously trying to attract a younger audience, but good luck to the two of them, they're both excellent presenters!

To me this is all very suspicous, but if it turns out all to be true, then great. By the way does anyone know why the re-launch has supposidly been put back 2 weeks?
ReLaunchNow, do you know if the weekend presenter line-up is to change as well?

Michael Wilson presenting from 0500 until 2200 - very unlikely.
Jeremy Thompson is much better on location - the new role with probably allow for more of this.
