Oh goody! That does look nice!

Now all I want is some individual opening titles for programmes and revised graphics and you may just keep me happy again! I hope you are listening Sky!

The music was ever so slightly different on the news titles, it didn't start off with just a static 'Live News' image, but a rotating globe and then the 'Live News' bit flashed up, so perhaps we're going to be seeing a countdown thing before the ident itself?

I looks like they've realised this 'plainer than plain' look isn't the best they've ever had and are making it look a bit more polished - finally. Hopefully this shiny logo and revised break bumpers etc will mean some shiner graphics, because the current flat ones just do not work.

New ident looks really good, they must be making changes to it all the time and they'll probably settle on one final look some time soon. I just hope they don't settle for the astons they've currently got.

Now just look at that! That is the kind of graphics revamp Sky News needs!

Also having a look at the new titles myself I will say very nice but well I don't like to criticise but I liked it when they opened and closed over the picture at the top of the hour. Now they have to mix it and it just doesn't look AS good but I think the fact that the titles themselves are miles better makes up for it!

Yeah the new titles look really good - maybe they have produced many variations now (for all the different programmes) and these are the generic ones?! Well we can hope...

WOW! I'm speechless MDTA those astons are fantastic! Your design has real thought in it! Don't forget though that the red slug needs to fin in with every single graphic including all the sports stills etc....

BUT WOW - Excellent stuff!

And the secret behind the new ident is this they used to play the ident at 00:59:48 for 12 seconds that's why we'd see the freeze.

Now the new idents duration is 15 seconds with the first three seconds mute so they roll the ident at 00:59:45 but TX take it still at 00:59:48 so viewers never see a freeze!

Thats good, only thing is that you forgot to use the safe area guides
