What do i have to do to convince you!

That image you are on about, has been there since the election and was designed by me, and altered by sky.

The New logo on digital spy etc, comes from sky, and is of the new logo and on screen graphix coming on Oct 1st.

Personally i find it remarkable you keep thinking my logo is the new one, but if it was, dont you think i would be pleading its case!!


My logo is not the new logo, simple as that, now can someone tell me the pantone refrences from the BROADCAST article so i can finish off making the REAL new logo.

Was there any point putting the exact same words in three different threads? If I didn't know any better, I'd say your actions are coreographed!

I have just noticed that the Sky News branding above the video wall has gone. Does anybody know if the branding above the news desk has gone?

I see there's three versions of the logo, and a new Sky corporate logo. Sky 1, Moviemax, Premier and Cinema will rebrand in the new year it says. Anyone gonna mock 'em? Yes I am aware of the Ident Zone, but they were designed using the current corporate logo, which we now know to be out of date. Thanks for the link Aaron, mdta didn't mention Produxion!
Finally, why is the s in News written differently to the s in Sky?

When the article appeared on Produxion I posted!

I only think the new corporate logo will be for channels, why else would sky active still be in small letters.

It is the same corporate logo and font, just the one on the sky news logo is in Capitals.

But the article mentions a new corporate logo, so I think the CAPS version will be adopted.

The wording isnt too clear, but it could just be the 'SKY' part of the channel logos change.

BSkyB kicks-off major re-brand

BSkyB has unveiled the first stage of a major rebrand of its UK service which will see the Sky logo as well as a number of channel identities change, writes Barbara Marshall.

Sky News will be rebranded first and sport a new logo and on-air graphics from 1 October. Changes have already been made to the studio look and presenter line-up. Sky 1 and the movie channels will change in the new year, although it has not yet been decided whether Sky Sports will be rebranded.

Director of broadcasting and production Mark Sharman, who has led the rebranding exercise over the last six months, has brought in former Sky creative director and on-air branding specialist Bruce Dunlop to act as consultant. Sharman said Dunlop had been advising on operational issues but the rebranding had been done in-house.

Dunlop said the aim was to get back to a central brand while ensuring each channel retained its own character: 'Either you make idents so good you don't get bored or you make them flexible, like the BBC 2 idents.'

A Sky spokesman said: 'One of the main objectives is to refresh the on-screen look of the Sky channels. The aim is to give some unity to the look and build upon the obvious power of the Sky brand.'

The planning and presentation functions for each channel are expected to be brought back under the control of one person to ensure synergy across the channels.

Do you notice the way sky logo's have 2 styles and then there scrapted,

Take the round looking logo, them the egg logo, then box shaped logo and now the long shaped one
